From January 2026, Active Therapy Stafford is taking a major step forward in how we deliver world-class physiotherapy.
You know us for our reputation providing specialist physiotherapy and sports injury services over 25 years and extensive 5-star Google reviews. We earned that trust by developing relationships and getting results for our clients.
Our experience—and the clinical data—tells us that true recovery is a journey, not a quick fix and this is something we are clear and transparent on.
The Science of Recovery Successful treatment is optimally achieved from a transparent and structured approach. For every patient, regardless of the injury, there are 4 non-negotiable phases to a full recovery:
1️⃣ Pain Management 2️⃣ Movement Efficiency & Range of Motion 3️⃣ Strength & Force Development 4️⃣ Return to Sport / Normal Life
In our experience each phase typically requires a minimum of 2–4 weeks to achieve lasting results.
Because we are committed to optimal outcomes, we are changing our structure to match this reality.
What’s Changing in January 2026?
🔹 The Initial Consult:
Every new patient will undergo an exclusive 60-minute consultation and treatment session. We will diagnose the issue and map out your specific journey through the 4 phases and you will also receive your first treatment.
🔹 Committed Treatment Plans: We are discontinuing “Pay As You Go” single sessions.
Effective treatment requires a plan, not ‘ad-hoc’ guesswork.
Following your consultation, we will decide together which treatment plan would help you achieve your goals most efficiently. This fee is payable at the end of your initial consult.
Why are we introducing these changes?
Because ad-hoc, single sessions do not achieve optimal results or optimally reduce your recurrence risk. We are engaged in a treatment pathway designed to achieve outstanding results that keep you healthy
We are excited to partner with patients who are as committed to their recovery as we are. And we therefore aren’t probably a good fit for those who can’t commit fully to resolving their condition in partnership with us.

Professional Fees – From 1/1/26
- Initial consultation and treatment session (60 minutes) £99*
- Follow-up treatment – £55 per session – 30 mins (we advise & you choose from a plan of 4, 6 or 8 sessions. Payable at the end of your first consultation.)
*Treatment sessions include a number of different treatment techniques for example electrotherapy, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, taping and exercise/rehabilitation/S&C and performance testing.
We accept cash and all debit/credit cards except American Express.
*Elements Fitness & Wellbeing members receive £10 discount on INITIAL ASSESSMENT only
Insured Patients
We are providers for most major Health Insurance Companies which means you can use your policy to cover the cost of your physiotherapy treatment. We recommend that you contact your insurance company before commencing treatment to clarify whether a medical referral is required prior to first attendance and whether there are any restrictions on your policy such as a policy excess fee.
All fees are agreed contractually between Active Therapy and each insurance company independently.
In keeping with the professional service that we provide, we bill the cost of your treatment directly to your health insurance company which means that you do not have to pay for your treatment and then reclaim the cost from your insurer.

- Golf Review Session – 45 minutes – £75

Strength and Conditioning for Sports Performance
